Next - attack the stair treads! I will probably replace them with prefinished red oak stair treads that I saw at Menard's and then paint the pine risers with Benjamin Moore's Simply White trim paint.
It's also time to put in the Youngstown metal kitchen cabinets that are sitting in the garage awaiting their new home and a new coat of paint. I need a quote before I can give the go ahead. I learned my lesson the hard way about going ahead with work before I get a firm quote. Ouch!
