All decked out in a new coat of paint. They aren't perfect, but what can one expect from 1950's cabinets that had been painted a couple of times with a brush?
I need to finish cleaning the cabinet pulls and the black plastic decorative inserts that go behind them.
These are the extra cabinets. I haven't decided where they will be going as of yet. Probably in the laundry room, but I would like to get moved in before I make that decision.
My new counter top - Wilsonart Laminate #4779-60 Pewter Brush. I love it. Wish I had more base cabinets so I could use more of this wonderful design. I'm toying with the idea of using it as the back splash above the cupboards.
I thought about going with one of the Wilsonart Indie boomerang retro designs, but their colors just didn't go with the flooring and the refrigerator. Totally happy with this Pewter Brush though.
I've started knitting again. Nothing fancy - dish clothes that fit a retro kitchen and scarves. Projects that won't irritate my arthritis. I hope!

I think your cabinets turned out very well. The counter tops look very nice with them. It is always exciting to see things coming along. Have a great day, Patricia.
