Nearing the end of the tours. A wall in one of the bedrooms.
Same wall with a corner shot.
Corner two. Still have a few boxes around and a few items I have listed on Amazon to sell.
Dried lilacs!
Before of one of the bedrooms.
Same corner nine months later.
Moving around the room.
Much cleaner and brighter.
Third wall of the same room.
The window seat was pulled out and will be replaced soon with a desk that will fill up the space.
Fourth wall.
A new bedspread is on the wishlist for Christmas.
The area at the top of the stairs...
has been turned into our media storage.
The laundry room needs a little work and then I will consider the inside finished! My next goals are the back steps - dangerous! And the garage.
Thanks for sticking around for the tours of our renovation. I've enjoyed myself immensely.
I worried about uprooting the kids again, but they both are very positive about this move. They like this house more than the last one. My son warns me I better not think of moving again though. :) It does seem to be a habit with me.
Funny how my maternal grandmother lived in the same house all her life; whereas, my paternal grandmother moved a lot. Since I got married, I've lived in eight places. As a child, just guessing, probably, hmm - eight unless there is one or two I was too young to remember. Guess it is time to stop!
How many places have you called home?
