Another great book in the Lake Manawa Summers series. It took a little while for me to remember the characters from the previous novels in this series: Making Waves (Lake Manawa Summers Book #1)
This is one great story. I loved the interesting and believable characters. The story line was perfect with plenty of love, mystery, conflict, betrayal, and eventually, trust.
Lilly Hart is a widowed mother who works full time in a restaurant to provide for her six year old son, Levi. Lilly’s wealthy in-laws, instead of easing her financial burdens, want nothing more than to take Levi from her so they can send him away to boarding school.
Enter a cast of men and women whose goals are to either help Lilly’s cause or to take money her in-laws are willing to spend to get their own way.
Lorna has written a tale that incorporates spiritual lessons in a realistic way that touched my heart.
I had no problem staying interested and involved with the characters in The Ride of Her Life
