Fearless by Eric Blehm - Be Inspired to Go the Extra Mile!

If you can read only one book this year, let it be this one!

Eric Blehm has written a wonderful tribute to fallen Navy Seal Team Six Operator, Adam Brown. Once I started reading about Adam, I couldn’t put the book down. Adam lived life to the fullest. Even as a child, he showed determination and daring beyond his peers.

Adam’s story is one of courage, steadfastness, love, devotion, and plain old stubbornness. He was willing to go above and beyond the call of duty in every aspect of his life. He volunteered for the toughest jobs, even those that seemed foolish. If there was a job that needed to be done or a dare in the air, Adam was the first to volunteer. His extreme living took a toll on his body, but he never gave up striving to reach the next goal.

Even with all his toughness, he was a loving husband and father; gentle and thoughtful. He was a role model for his fellow soldiers and the Afghan children he served.

The only thing that came close to conquering Adam’s spirit was his craving for drugs. But once he turned his life over to God, and with the help of his wife, family, and friends, he was able to conquer even the demon of drug addiction.

I enjoyed reading about one of God’s and the United States’ heroes. I was awe struck by the sheer grueling training the Seals undergo on a daily basis. I can understand why they are some of the United States’ finest.

I received a copy of Fearless: The Undaunted Courage and Ultimate Sacrifice of Navy SEAL Team SIX Operator Adam Brown from WaterBrook Press.
